Digit

Quite possibly one of the sweetest cats I have ever met. She got her name because she’s a Hemingway Cat, which means she’s polydactyl, which means she has extra toes! MORE TOE BEANS! For some reason I have trouble remembering polydactyl, and often refer to them as Pterydactyls. Digit is 14, and in all likelihood is a hospice kitty. She has some serious heart issues, and she is hyperthyroid. That being said, quite often when a ‘hospice’ kitty is given a home, they WAY outlive any time limits given them. She IS on meds, and they have VASTLY improved her life, her energy. She is not the easiest cat to pill (we can teach you) but the awesome thing is she does NOT hold a grudge! She has captured all our hearts at HOD, and we would LOVE to find the perfect place for her. Adopting a kitty that may not live a long life is not for everyone, but it would mean the world to this little girl.
