We do love the older ones at HOD. Katrina is 17, and in pretty good health! Her person passed away, and we welcomed her with open arms. She is in the early stages of Renal Disease, and does have arthritis – but with Adequin injections and 2x daily Cosequin in her food, she has become MUCH more mobile and comfortable. She is a stunning Russian Blue, and is quite opinionated, befitting a mature lady cat. She does NOT like her hips/tail to be petted, but very much likes the front half to be stroked. She is turning into a lap cat, and often comes trotting to the door when the volunteers come in to greet them!
