Meenie

Orange and white tiger stripe, with white socks and interesting, uneven white around nose. Quiet, has a mellow demeanor. Lap cat. Healthy play habits. Interested in playing with water.  Tears at carpet under doorways.  He has needed the most re-direction on inappropriate scratching (he likes upholstered chairs and rugs).  Squeaks. A bit timid outside on the leash.  The last to purr but very interested in affectionate contact.  Very gentle in his contact with me.  I saw Meenie groom his brothers and cover other’s litter box waste more than the other cats.  Meenie ladder-climbed kitchen drawers and a futon.  I noticed what I thought was hesitancy in jumping up.  During play he would hurl himself into the air to make a catch and tear up the perch but would not make vertical jumps he could clear.  He seemed to prefer climbing to jumping (even into the window sill trying to pull with his front and claw up the wall rather than make a small hop onto the ledge).  I wonder about his back legs and balance, but perhaps it is just a matter of development.    Spayed/Neutered, medical checkup
