Naupaka
Naupaka. SUCH a fluffy beauty! She’s just a baby (birthday is 3/12/20) and has had MORE than her fair share of yuck in her life! She had her left eye removed due to an infection, and she is FeLV+. Originally a California girl, she came to HOD from Visalia, CA. Playful, soft, funny! Every time I see her I do a double take on just HOW beautiful she is. She LOVES being near people and with people, and does really well with other kitties. And her name? Named by one of our fabulous volunteers “She’s named after a unique Hawaiian flower which grows in a half blossom. Naupaka has at least three legends surrounding it, but all have to do with goodness arising from tragedy or sadness – which, as a cat who was dumped and abandoned and sick, is the story of this feline flower.”
